Workshop FAQs

Who can take your workshops?

Our workshops are open to the public as well as our studio members.

What’s included in the fee?

The price covers instruction, clay, tools, glazes, and firing costs, everything you’ll need.

What should I bring?

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, aprons will be provided.

What if I miss a class?

Missed sessions in multi-week courses may be made up during open studio hours, though instructors will not be present. For single-day or two-day workshops, make-ups are not available. If you notify us that you cannot attend, a refund or credit may be offered depending on the timing of your notice.

Can I bring my own clay or glazes?

To keep our kilns safe, we provide all materials. If you’d like to use something specific, please check with us first.

How big are classes?

We keep classes small, with a maximum of 10 students, to ensure plenty of individual attention.

When will my finished pieces be ready?

Because clay needs time to dry and be fired, your work will be ready for pickup about three weeks after your workshop. You’ll receive a ticket with pickup instructions and dates, and an automatic email will also be sent at the three-week mark with all the details.
