Strengthen throwing, trimming, and glazing while exploring taller forms, donut forms, oxides, and intermediate surface work with guided feedback throughout. Prior wheel experience required.

Designed for students who have completed Introduction to Ceramics or have equivalent experience, this six-week course builds on core skills and moves your work forward. Strengthen wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing for greater consistency. Throw taller with better control, explore new forms, and deepen your understanding of intermediate glaze theory and techniques. You will work with donut forms, oxides, and more complex trimming methods, with guidance from experienced instructors. Refine your technique and develop a personal style that comes through in every piece.
Schedule:The workshop meets on the scheduled day and for the following five weeks at the same day and time. Each session is 2.5 hours, for a total of 15 hours of studio time. Book only if you can attend all dates in the series.
*students ages 15-17 years old can participate with enrolled adult also in attendance
