Altered Forms: Mugs Edition

Students will be provided with two pre-thrown cups and reshape them into mugs that feel distinctly their own. Working with firm greenware, you’ll explore altering techniques like stretching, bending, reshaping, and adding or subtracting clay, then shape and attach your handles to complete each piece.

To finish, you’ll choose from a range of studio glaze colors. We’ll glaze and fire your work, and finished pieces will be ready for pickup about three weeks after class.
